Endorsements can now be entered into the Student Information System (SIS) by districts. A College and Career Pathway Endorsement (CCPE) grid is available on the CCR tab on a student’s record, which will collect all endorsements added for a student whether endorsements are entered online for one student at a time or via the batch process for multiple students.
Refer to the College and Career Pathway Endorsement User Guide for detailed information regarding CCPE reporting in SIS. The College and Career Pathway Endorsement data elements document includes field descriptions, validation rules, codes available for the batch process, and other important information. Batch templates for submitting CCPE reporting for multiple students to SIS, as well as instructions for creating a comma-separated values (CSV) CCPE batch file, are available on the ISBE SIS Excel Templates webpage under the College and Career Readiness drop-down menu. The XML schema for creating an extensible markup language (XML) CCPE batch file is available on the ISBE Documentation/Tools webpage under the ISBE SIS File Formats Layouts drop-down menu.
