Welding
You can earn a Shielded Metal ARC Welding Certificate for a career as a basic stick welder. It will give a student one step up on entering the welding field. The Welding classes begins in August on the Moraine Valley campus, with lecture and lab sessions on either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm. Students are responsible for transportation to Moraine Valley. Successful completers receive a total of 9 college credits after successful completion of the required courses.
